Nominees must be:

• A current or former member in good standing of the Economic Club of Florida
• Nominated by a member in good standing of the Economic Club of Florida
• Contribute beyond their day-to-day responsibilities to the Club and/or the Community
• Exhibit leadership excellence in the Club and/or the Community
• Demonstrate the Club’s culture and embody the values of Stan Tait in one or more of the following areas:

Economic Club and Other Activities:

• Contribution to the scheduling of luncheon speakers;
• Contribution to research and economic development via the nominee’s normal job activity, community volunteer activity, and/or entrepreneurship;
• Contribution to Club membership;

Putting People First:

• Keeps the interests of others first and foremost;
• Listens to what others are saying and to their needs;
• Works with colleagues to deliver the best result for the Club and/or the Community;

Leading With Exceptional Ideas:

• Contributes by breaking new ground with innovative ideas;
• Allows the facts and different points of view broaden his/her perspective;
• Is vigilant in pursuing better ways to accomplish the objective;

Doing the Right Thing:

• Acts with integrity and fairness;
• Thinks like an owner to create long-term Club and/or Community values;
• Recognizes and rewards honesty, collegiality, character and compassion;

Giving Back:

• Is generous with time, money and expertise;
• Invests in the future of our Club and/or our Community;
• Mentors colleagues…especially the next generation.
