Florida’s largest electric company takes centerstage at this month’s luncheon, as we welcome Armando Pimentel, President and CEO of Florida Power and Light Company (FPL). FPL provides power to
about 5.8 million customers or more than 12 million people. That makes it not only the largest electric utility in Florida but in the nation. Its parent company, NextEra Energy of Juno Beach,
is the largest investor-owned electric producer in America, with a presence in 49 states and four Canadian provinces.
